At the center of the series is the character of Noah, a licensed psychotherapist who has lost his clinical care license and has been a group facilitator ever since. Noah is a lonely man, living on an old-fashioned yacht in the marina of Jaffa, whose whole world revolves around caring for the characters that make up the group, until Tessa enters his life. Noah has an affair with Tessa and is immersed in studying the new method. This turn in his life upsets the balance of power within the group and between the group and Noah - personal crises, mental collapses involving tantrums and violence, marital crises and more erupt at once.
