Daniel è un neuro-scienziato plurilaureato in discipline psicologiche e con un’innata abilità nella comprensione dei comportamenti umani. È anche professore universitario di una fittizia Università americana, la Chicago Lake Michigan University, e il suo interesse per le materie neuro scientifiche è dovuto ai disturbi di cui lui stesso soffre, paranoia e schizofrenia. Una sua ex studentessa, Kate Moretti, divenuta agente dell’FBI lo chiama per aiutarla a risolvere casi particolarmente complessi. Attraverso il disturbo schizofrenico di cui soffre e che lo porta ad avere frequenti allucinazioni, spesso indistinguibili dalla realtà, riesce però a trarre ispirazione per la risoluzione dei casi.

I was hooked instantly, I love this series! The message behind the great storylines showed us that there is no need to fear mental illnesses and to have some compassion and understanding. The way it ended was so unfair and which is a huge bummer but it’s absolutely worth the watch. I would recommend it
