The once rich and influential De La Quintana family lives now in a humble neighborhood outside Lima, Peru. Through a series of confusions and misunderstandings, Alejandro believes Maria Emilia is his dad's lover. In a jealousy attack, he takes Maria Emilia by force and then realizes she was still pure and had never lied to him. But it is too late.
