Great show. Elle Fanning shines while Nick Offerman gives a great performance as well. Pfieffer plays the perfect ritzy, ditzy, mess of a Mom too. While I'm not a supporter of OnlyFans, I am a supporter of family, and the show does a good job at being brutally honest about all of it. I laughed, I cried, and the ending was satisfying and realistic. Will be interesting to see where Season 2 goes but it will definitely be hard to top the 1st one.

Margo's Got Money Troubles is anchored by a radiant, magnetic performance from Elle Fanning, who brings wit, vulnerability, and fierce determination to a young mother navigating impossible circumstances. Backed by a knockout cast... including Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, and Nicole Kidman.. the series transforms a potentially grim premise into something surprisingly heartfelt and raw. It's a smart, sincere dramedy that celebrates resilience and the messy, complicated love of family, proving that even in the depths of financial chaos, there's room for humor, heart, and unapologetic hope. Fanning's knockers should be enshrined in the Tate gallery, or at the very least publicly declared as national treasures.

Was enjoying it until they tried to make "sex work" empowering. I was with it all until her dad decided to help her with onlyfans. I don't understand why writers nowadays suck so badly at writing empowering women. It's always either forced or takes an angle of "I'm a do what I want" over responsibility. It's actually the opposite of empowerment.

There’s something oddly refreshing about Margo Got Money Troubles. On paper, this could’ve easily been another disposable “look how edgy we are” streaming comedy drowning in shock value and awkward internet-age satire. Instead, the series ends up being one of the biggest surprise hidden gems of 2026. At the center of it all is Elle Fanning, who gives one of the best performances of her career as Margo, an aspiring college writer whose life completely spirals after getting pregnant by her professor. What makes Fanning so good here is how grounded she keeps the character. Margo is messy, impulsive, funny, vulnerable, and painfully human all at once. When she turns her writing talents into success on “spicy site” to support herself and her newborn, the show could’ve easily leaned into cheap punchlines. Instead, it treats her with surprising empathy and intelligence. The series is definitely raunchy, but it also has a real heartbeat underneath all the chaos. The writing constantly finds ways to balance absurd humor with genuine emotional weight, which is a harder trick to pull off than most people realize. You actually end up caring about these characters beyond the outrageous situations they land in. The supporting cast is stacked across the board. Michelle Pfeiffer, Greg Kinnear, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman all slide naturally into the world of the show without ever overshadowing Fanning. Everybody feels locked into the same strange, funny, emotionally bruised wavelength. What really works is how cleverly written the entire thing is. Lesser showrunners would’ve turned this premise into a mindless raunch-com spiral loaded with lazy jokes and nothing else. But Margo Got Money Troubles consistently rises above that. It’s sharp, self-aware, weirdly heartfelt, and far more emotionally mature than its premise suggests. By the end of Season 1, this feels destined to become one of those shows people discover two years from now and wonder why nobody was talking about it sooner.

Brilliant! I can't wait for more. The story, the characters, and the acting were so dynamic and real. Elle Fanning as Margo... chef's kiss! Star studded, yes. But, every one owned their characters. Please, more Hungry Ghost and the whole village.

Great series, too bad we normalized women over 50 to be made out of plastic.
