Natty runs away from the guardian she was left with to follow Dad. She befriends and is befriended by a wolf that has been abused in dog fights, hops a freight train west, and is presumed dead when her wallet is found after the train crashes. Dad gets bitter and endangers himself in his new job. E5Return of the Shaggy DogBefore the Shaggy D.A. is when this movie is supposed to take place, but really, it's and 80's movie that just has a good time (the Shaggy D.A. was a 70's flick)...Offered as a two-parter on The Wonderful World of Disney, this movie has only been aired twice, as far as I know, and had Wilby Daniels engaged but before he can get married he ends up kidnapped by the professor's caretakers (who find the ring and read the inscription, hence Wilby's return as the shaggy dog).
