If Blue Lights is Warhammer 40K — all grit, pain, and moral darkness — then Castle is The Marvel Cinematic Universe of crime TV: fast-talking, emotionally satisfying, and just serious enough to keep its heart intact amid the fun. It even shares DNA with Absentia — its brooding, more tortured cousin lurking just down the alley, still carrying some of Castle’s emotional DNA but drained of the laughter.
