Il capitano Dylan Hunt, della Confederazione dei Sistemi, assieme alla sua astronave Andromeda Ascendant, rimane intrappolato in un buco nero per 300 anni. Al suo risveglio la Confederazione si è disgregata. L'Andromeda Ascendant viene recuperata da un gruppo di mercenari. Così, Dylan, Beka, Trance stringono un accordo e intraprendono un viaggio per far rinascere la Confederazione.

First season was great. It goes downhill for each subsiquent season. It's a slow decline, but it never recovers. Sadly, once the Reverand leaves the show (which is never explained) it loses some of its heart and its soul.
