After You've Gone is a British sitcom broadcast on BBC One from 12 January 2007 to 21 December 2008. Starring Nicholas Lyndhurst, Celia Imrie, Dani Harmer and Ryan Sampson, the three season comedy follows handyman Jimmy Venables, who moves in with his teenage children and his mother-in-law Diana after his ex-wife Ann goes to Africa to help with a flood.

Web of DeceitDiana and the children return from staying in Africa with Ann but Jimmy is not at the airport to meet them as arranged and they find the house filthy and Siobhan in bed with him. Molly airs her displeasure in a blog on her web-site and Diana discovers it and tells Jimmy. Annoyed that the others have read her blog Molly mendaciously states on her web-site that she is off to a rave in the West Country to send Diana and Jimmy on a wild goose chase.

Rose TattooJimmy accidently sees Diana naked in the shower and Molly takes advantance of his shock by gettting him to agree to her having a tattoo. Meanwhile, Alex takes an aptitude test and the results indicate that accountancy is an appropriate career.

Tell TaleJimmy plans a poker game with Kev, Siobhan and Bobby, but when Bobby drops out, Diana steps in and, with a little inside info, is able to see through Jimmy's bluffing. Meanwhile, Molly is eager to look better than rival Becky in the school photograph.

Meet the ParentJimmy is invited out to meet Siobhan's father David, and his nerves aren't helped when Diana tags along. Soon enough, Diana and David hit it off but when Diana wants out, it's up to Jimmy to help her end things.

Love and WarJimmy's plans for a leisurely weekend are upended when Diana makes a surprising and unwelcome discovery about the past. Cue Jimmy having to run around trying to find out who was having an affair with Diana's husband before he died. Whilst the attention of the adults is elsewhere, Molly and Alex's tit for tat war starts to get out of hand.

When She Came BackAnn returns from Africa and announces that she is marrying Howard and wants to take the kids abroad with her. She moves into the house,ejecting Diana and Jimmy,who ends up sleeping at Kev's and getting pooped on by Kev's parrot. Alex,who has pretended to have a broken leg in order to get out of P.E. at school,and Molly,however, want to stay with their father and grandma and eventually Ann returns alone to live in Africa.
