- Zokkiie6 gg faThis is easily one of the strongest X-Men movies because it feels like it actually knows what it wants to be. The younger versions of these characters are handled surprisingly well, especially Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, who completely own their roles and make the relationship between them the heart of the movie. The '60s setting is a great choice too, giving it a different style and helping it stand apart from the earlier films. The movie also does a great job making the characters feel more human instead of just focusing on superpowers. The action is fun, the pacing is solid, and the cast has a lot of chemistry. The biggest issues are some weaker side characters, and January Jones was definitely a bad casting choice as Emma Frost. This version of Emma Frost just doesn’t work and feels like a wasted character. Even with those problems, the strong performances and fresh take on the franchise make this one of the most rewatchable X-Men movies.

The story is amazing, the direction is top notch and the new cast of actors have given excellent performances, especially McAvoy and Fassbender. There couldn't have been better choices to play Charles and Erik. All in all a must watch!
- Tiffie Starchild31 maggio 2025I’m doing a rewatch of ALL of the live-action X-Men films in chronological order (not the order of release). You know how people are siiick and tired of remakes?? I really wish they would remake this movie. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad! Let’s even bring back the same actors! I just feel like with a bigger budget and people being SO hungry for mutants in the MCU, this film could’ve been made a lot better. Also, justice for Darwin because wtf was that?
- Dragonbearwizard18 maggio 2026I held off on watching this movie for a while because according to reviews this was the best X-men movie yet ! unfortunately i must disagree. after watching the complete schlok action adventure that was wolverine origins this movie focuses a little more on characters, development but ultimately still chews through all of that to establish the status quo, overarching humans VS mutants plot. it's like someone made an outline for the story's structure and they used that raw, you jump from one plot to the next and things just happen because they need to happen. it feels INCREDIBLY forced. and the costumes feel off, the CGI is okay but full beast looks weird and cheap compared to his previous appearance, so does mystique in her blue form, her hair looks like a cheap wig with hairspray in it and her scales look like foam. the saving grace was magneto, he is a handsome devil, his motivations were actually clear, the ending on the beach was a joke though, afwull way to tie a bow in it. his helmet looked good, the rest of his outfit looked a bit sh*t. i also have some complaints about the logic, i'm pretty sure emma frost's skin turns to diamond but magneto cracks her neck with a piece of tubing ? the secret lair to the super secret meeting spot for super secret global villains trying to start world war 3 is a rotating wall in a publicly available booth in a publicly available club and you just press the ashtray in the middel on top of the table to get in ? many such conveniences happen just to push the story forward, it's sloppy and lazy, i know making movies is hard but it's bad when it takes me out of the movie.
