Diretto da John HughesGary e Wyatt sono due adolescenti molto imbranati, specie con le ragazze e divengono spesso e volentieri oggetto di scherno da parte dei loro coetanei. Un giorno, in seguito alla visione in tv di un film di Frankenstein, decidono, servendosi del computer di Wyatt, di creare la donna ideale; salta fuori così Lisa, una ragazza bellissima e praticamente perfetta, che si rivelerà per di più dotata di poteri straordinari. Così, per Gary e Wyatt, si apre una serie di appassionanti avventure che li porterà a maturare e ad avere fiducia nei loro mezzi, riuscendo, grazie all'aiuto di Lisa, a conquistare il cuore di due loro coetanee ed a ottenere popolarità tra i loro compagni di scuola.

The film had that perfect mix of 80's charm, quirky comedy, teenage awkwardness and a wild sci-fi premise that felt both ridiculous and fun. Watching Gary and Wyatt “create” Lisa on the big screen made the absurdity even more entertaining and the energy of the theater added to the laughs. It wasn’t just about the jokes; it captured that teenage fantasy of wanting to fit in, of trying something outrageous to change your life. The movie leaned into its silliness, but that’s exactly what made it so enjoyable. By the time it ended, I felt like I’d been part of a playful ride that only the 80's could deliver.
