- WindUp19 maggio 2025Tarantino approved and after watching this I can see why. Tightly-wound bank robbery picture shot in gorgeous Technicolor in (I think) Bisbee, AZ. The lame title notwithstanding, most all of the violence occurs in the final few minutes, but the interwoven motivations of the various characters keep this film humming right along. Terrific performances especially from Coburn, Naish, and Leith. To me the dialog of the Quaker family felt wooden, but not so much as to wreck the film. So...imagine a modern heist movie dipped and diluted a bit in Douglas Sirk sauce (especially the ending) and there you have it. Very enjoyable.
