- Jeremiah12 marzo 2026A twisty little tale taking place entirely in a single tailor… ahem, excuse me…cutter’s shop, comprised of 3 rooms. 90% of the film is just dialog scenes within those 3 rooms. And I never got bored. I loved the way it unraveled its story. I loved the performances. It bobs and weaves and keeps you on its toes with a satisfying ending. It never actually subverts any expectations really once you start to get the movies vibe and direction, but sometimes you get what you expect and its execution is done so well that’s fine.

A crime family suspects a rat among the ranks and they (and the audience) spend 100 minutes trying to figure out just who it is. Mark Rylance is perfectly cast as this quiet reserved cutter (read: tailor) that’s fallen in (tangentially, at least) with a local crime family. Loved seeing Zoey Deutch and Dylan O’Brien (who I honestly didn’t recognize at first.). It’s a taught mystery that turned the screws each time I thought that I had it figured. The final 5 minutes, smudged some of the shine off, and was frankly completely unnecessary. Aside from that, this was well worth checking out.
