There is a bunch of twists and turns that you don’t see coming that will shock you and leave you in disbelief - The movie has a lot of guts to do things that most movies can’t - The movie is extremely intense and thrilling - The bits of humour thrown into the film are actually pretty funny - The movie can be emotional at some points - The soundtrack is pretty solid - The performances, which I think is the best part of the movie, are excellent - The characters are all different and have different motivations Overall The Departed is an absolute masterpiece from beginning to end and I definitely recommend this to all movie fans.
