    The most slapped together movie the Conjuring/Annabelle/Nun storyline. Just acted as a shoehorned in little side story to shove the 3 series together by force.

    The Conjuring 2 doesn't waste time in bringing the scares in. By that, I mean you're pretty much in the thick of it from the get-go, being given some background (via another very notorious haunting incident) for what is to follow.

    Not quite as good as the first, but still has plenty of spine-tingling moments throughout. Even if the scares are a touch reliant on jump scares, most are set up extremely well and are quite chilling—the nun, especially. I can see why she was spun off a new franchise. Plus, I can’t help but love anything with Vera Farmiga.

    Conjuring 2: Back in the Habit If they would have played back both tapes at 2x they would have realized the nun was just mad she was passed over for Whoopi in Sister Act.

    A worthy sequel whose only downfall is that it forgot it was a horror movie and became a slightly overdramatized love story.

    The second Conjuring takes viewers to the English countryside, where an old house in Enfield and its inhabitants become the center of supernatural events. The change of setting brings freshness to the film, and the contrast between gloomy London and the oppressive, suffocating interior of the house creates a vivid backdrop for the poltergeist story. The movie relies on classic horror tricks but also knows how to build tension more subtly. Some scenes, especially those involving possession, genuinely give you goosebumps. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson once again complement each other perfectly, giving the story an emotional core. While the sequel doesn’t break new ground, its atmosphere, characters, and well-crafted suspense make it a solid and satisfying horror film that is definitely worth watching.
