    If Cabin in the Woods was stripped of mythology, you'd get something like this movie. A fun romp through a field of violence with some comedy interspersed.

    Feels like James Gunn watched Battle Royale and thought, "I know what I'll write this weekend.". Unfortunately, the whole thing doesn't make a lick of sense, and there's none of the personal drama that would make it engaging. But if you like watching office workers kill each other for no purpose, this one's for you

    The Belko Experiment is a decent little action/thriller that doesnt quite live up to the potential of it's premise. The first half of Belko solidly builds up the tension of having 80 normal people trapped in an office building... unfortunately the second half lets it down. When a faction splits off and is armed with guns, the film falls apart. You honestly just end up with low effort shooting. Adding to the missed opportunity is the character work, describing it as bare-bones is about as generous as I can bring myself to be. The audio and visuals were all fine, nothing really to mention.

    Not a very original movie and the ending is pretty stupid in many ways, but overall very enjoyable. It also pushes the envelope a bit on the killing department, which is nice in this kind of movie.
