Diretto da Bo ZengaStan Helsing lavora in un videonoleggio, gestito dall’adolescente Sully. Per Halloween, Stan riceve l’incarico di consegnare una multitudine di film alla madre del proprietario del negozio. Il giovane, a malincuore, accetta e si fa aiutare dall’amico Teddy, dall’ex fidanzata Nadine e dalla massaggiatrice Mia. Durante il tragitto, i giovani si imbattono in una serie di eventi paradossali che hanno come protagonisti personaggi che hanno visto nei film horror: dalla bambola assassina Chucky a Freddy Krueger, da Leatherface a Pinhead. Inoltre, scoprono che tutti gli abitanti della cittadina sono morti anni prima durante un incendio e che Stan è il discendente di Van Helsing, il celebre cacciatore di mostri.

- Richard13 dicembre 2025I first saw this one on streaming, and it’s exactly the kind of late 2000s parody that feels made for that format. The movie is about Stan, a slacker video clerk who, along with his ex girlfriend, best buddy and an exotic dancer, stumbles into a cursed town on Halloween night. The gimmick is clear: throw Stan against knock off versions of horror’s biggest icons, Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, Chucky and Michael Myers and play it for laughs. The humor is broad, the gags hit unevenly and the film leans heavily on crude jokes and pop culture riffs. On streaming, it worked as disposable fun. the kind of movie you watch once for the curiosity factor, then move on. Compared to sharper parodies like Scary Movie, this one feels cheaper and more scattershot, but it knows exactly what it is: a goofy Halloween spoof with cult aspirations.
