- Goosebumper4 agosto 2026It has a neat vibe with a great ending scene. Having a character talk about how wolfman is their favourite horror character when you have Lon Chaney Jr. in a prominent role is funny.
- ktyca26 aprile 2025I loved Spider Baby. The atmosphere of the 60’s bleeds out on the screen in wonderful ways. The house and property look like back roads seclusion appropriate for the feel of the movie. I love all the characters, even the side characters are well thought out and have purpose. Great storyline and creepy too for its time. I recommend for all fans of horror or 60’s era films.
- cultfilmliker11 giugno 2026Lots of Freaks vibes. Can see the influence it had on Rob Zombie, and I mean more than just casting Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding. I mean, it’s essentially a blueprint for House of 1000 Corpses I get The Texas Chainsaw Massacre vibes as well. I bet Tobe was a fan!
- Rocco DOrazio29 dicembre 2024While delivered in the style of a Hammer Horror, its substance shares the DNA of Freaks and is a generation prior to the Sawyer Family in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It's also really from 1964 which makes it even more bonkers. Uncle Peter might be the most socially tolerant character ever put to screen.

Un ramo della famiglia Merrye ha sempre sofferto di una strana sindrome che provoca una regressione infantile e che porta alla demenza, a una ferocia primitiva e al cannibalismo. La spider baby del titolo è Virginia, una delle figlie, che crede di essere un ragno e non si fa problemi a catturare le persone (viste come dei grossi insetti) nella sua ragnatela e ucciderli.
