Latitante da dieci anni, Tobin Frost, ex agente della CIA in possesso di un microchip con documenti compromettenti, viene catturato e portato nella Safe House gestita da Matt Weston, ufficiale leale all'organizzazione deciso a migliorare la propria posizione lavorativa. Poco dopo l'inizio dell'interrogatorio, un gruppo di mercenari fa irruzione nella zona protetta cercando di uccidere la pericolosa spia, che riesce però a fuggire insieme al suo custode. Ora, il compito di Matt è quello di portare in salvo il detenuto tra le fughe di quest'ultimo e un gioco sporco in cui il volto dei buoni e dei cattivi paiono confondersi sempre di più.

- jackmeat20 marzo 2025My quick rating - 6.8/10. Well acted as you can expect and a pre-wisecracking Ryan Reynolds. Denzel is great as America's most wanted and plays the part very well. The movie does not let up as a CIA agent is forced into keeping a fugitive alive who has turned himself into custody after being missing for 9 years. Apparently, he has some SERIOUS information on all of the major intelligence organizations around the globe, and everyone wants their hands on him. So when Reynolds is there to keep him alive after a hit on his life, basically every secret group identifiable with letters (CIA, etc.) is out to get them. So who can Reynolds trust? Have to watch the movie to find out, and the only drawback to it is just that question. Oh, don't think I saw this before.

It may not be the smartest movie ever made, but hey, give me Ryan and Denzel giving life to the dumbest characters shooting their way across town while building rapport any day and you can sign up to that sucker.
