- ርልዪረ26 gennaio 2025My favorite Rocky sequel by far. The intro is great because it shows Rocky getting caught up in the fame and fortune and loses his “eye of the tiger” while his new opponent Clubber Lang is rising through the ranks. Mickeys death was sad along with Rocky getting humiliated by Clubber but it opened up Apollos opportunity to help out Rocky. I love how the former rivalry turned into an amazing friendship. (wish sadly ended in Rocky IV which is one of the reasons I didn’t really enjoy that movie) The training montage is my favorite one aside from the original and the second fight was great. 3 rounds full of action! And I can’t forget the awesome ending. The Apollo and Rocky private boxing match with the ending showing a freeze frame while both are throwing the first punches. Can’t forget about the awesome well known song that I’m sure everyone has listened to at least once, Eye of the Tiger! Great cast, especially with the addition of Mr. T! I honestly think Clubber is a better villain than Drago. Great movie!

- Jakeys26 dicembre 2025I prefer this one to II, and once again it's Carl Weathers really shining here. I'd back Apollo over Rocky, actually! Mr. T plays a much more one note villain than Apollo was in the first two, but plays him perfectly as written. Rocky has inexplicably gained about 50 IQ over the last movie somehow.

- CoffeeJesus66619 dicembre 2025This is where the Rocky series started to change. It becomes a little more glits and glamour... But it is still a fantastic entry in the series. Stallone is in million dollar shape for these movies. I couldn't imagine the training he had to do. Mr T is a fantastic big bad and one thing the Rocky series is always good at... Is making their bad guys have a reason. Mr T isn't in the wrong here. He kept getting buried by Mickey because he knew Rocky couldn't compete with that monster. Rocky wasn't the bad guy either as he was clueless to what's happening and even Mick comes off like gold trying to protect the person he cares about. Sprinkle in a cameo from Hulk Hogan and this movie is 80's time capsule worthy.
