- Billy Zane28 dicembre 2025I remember thinking this was just okay when it first came out, although I didn’t see it in theaters. On a recent rewatch, I loved it. The visuals and score hold up beautifully, and the story lands with more weight once you know where it’s going. I enjoyed it a lot more this time and now rank it up there with Edge of Tomorrow. Thoughtful, atmospheric sci-fi that rewards a second look.

Very reminiscent of the concepts of The Matrix, but told through an interesting lens, and it has the hallmark utopia / dystopia battle that makes so much sci-fi truly have depth
- Zokkiie24 febbraio 2026I ended up enjoying this more than I thought I would. The deserted Earth setting creates a cool, slightly haunting atmosphere, and the visuals are easily the highlight. Everything looks polished and thoughtfully designed. The story moves at a steady pace, mixing mystery with bursts of action, and it’s easy to stay invested. The soundtrack adds a lot to the tone, and the film never really drags. It might not stick with you forever, but it’s a solid, entertaining sci-fi watch.
- Kevin Ward3 luglio 2025Pretty solid dystopian sci fi flick that mixed in tons of ideas that have been done many times before, but does so in a pretty slick package. Kosinski-Cruise combo even manages to work in some aerial dogfights sequences in a canyon, that likely informed some of the work they did in Top Gun: Maverick. Much more stacked cast than I remembered. Andrea Riseborough, Morgan Freeman, Jaime Lannister, Olga Kurylenko. Entertaining family watch and slightly better than I remember it being.

Due di questi impiegati, quasi arrivati al termine del proprio impiego, si imbattono in alcuni astronauti lanciati nello spazio decenni prima ma ora atterrati rovinosamente, che il sistema inspiegabilmente riconosce come "minacce".
