Nosferatu Ratings e Recensioni
- Scott5 gennaio 2025Lily-Rose Depp does the ‘wolf ripping shirt’ pose and it rules. Exactly what you’ve come to expect from a Robert Eggers movie. Slow, somber, beautifully shot, and underscores how in a race for progress we push away everyone we love. Most of all women.
- CravanThePugilist15 marzo 2026I thought they did a pretty good job!
- DJ27 dicembre 2024Robert Eggers is trying his hardest to bring story telling to horror and with each film he moves closer to that perfection. As always with Eggers his artistic flair and period piece is on full display with Nosferatu. This gothic, atmospheric movie hits every target it wants too with precision. This movie is vicious and violent, don’t let a period piece part make you think otherwise. The horror genre is booming right now and it’s a perfect time for new masters to come along; such as Eggers, Ti West and Ari Aster.

- Elli23 gennaio 2025Surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Lily-Rose Depp is really good in this one. It's really a 2024 movie but they pulled it off. I enjoyed it, absolutely worth a watch.

- Rowan Krzysiak24 febbraio 2025This film is so terrible. There's an incredible interpretation of Nosferatu with Herzog's take. The thing is, if it lifted from that film it would merely nod to the fact that this version is completely unnecessary. So it goes its own direction one that lacks the subtlety and class of its predecessors. More than that, the performances and dialogue are truly dreadful. Worst of all though is the seeping through of the ego of the production onto the screen. That is the true horror.
- Hipster ZOMBIE24 gennaio 2025Director Robert Eggers is the master of creating an atmosphere of dread that encompasses his films. Whether it’s the VVitch or Nosferatu, Eggers way with imagery will stay with you long after you have finished one of his films. Nosferatu is a slow burn but one worth checking out.
- brossa027 febbraio 2026Just finished watching Nosferatu (2024), something I have been looking forward to seeing. It's well rated, which usually works out well for me, but not always. Well, this time, it didn't work out so well. I didn't really like it, witnessed by the fact that it took 3-4 times sitting down to finish it. I don't know the relationship between Nosferatu and Bram Stoker's Dracula, but there are similar themes and associated story arcs. Unfortunately, it had many scenes that were quite dark, and relied upon occasional jump scares, which I find cheesy. In the end, I much prefer Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). Kinda bummed, actually.

- Omer Naor17 febbraio 2026To ones who love the genre its a must see and also to the ones who seek adventure, didn't expected to like it. Great performance by all the lead actors, Aaron Taylor-Johnson's performance pale compare to the other but its not a fair fight. Beautifully shot. amazing set design, wardrobe and color grading. Eggers knows how to make a good atmosphere. My only complaint if I needed to be picky is that the clothes look so new and clean rather then used.
- alexnoaholdmate14 febbraio 2026Whoever wrote this script (apparently the Director Robert Eggers, though screenplays are rarely the work of a single pair of hands) must have an incredible fear of female sexuality. As for the film itself, performances are largely wooden and unbelievable - except for Willem Dafoe, who seems to understand the meme-worthy figure he's become and revel in it. But even his character has too little warmth or depth to truly enjoy. It is difficult to care about characters in a film that is - at its heart - about tragic love, when those characters are so wooden and unlikeable. Cinematography excellent, and some clear nods to the origjnal 1922 classic.
- rg940021 gennaio 2025I was stunned by Nosferatu. Within seconds, I became totally immersed in this gothic world, letting the jawdropping imagery envelop me. To be honest, Robert Eggers has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. While I enjoyed The VVitch, I've found his other movies to be more obtuse, focusing on cinematography and vibes rather than the whole product, often sacrificing themes, character, and plot. Nosferatu is an improvement across the board. This is his most narratively straightforward movie, probably due to both the original movie and Bram Stoker's Dracula laying out the blueprint. However, he never shortchanges the story in service of vibes (something I feel he does often in his movies), often letting it play out beat by beat and actually focusing in on the characters, themes, and emotions. The cinematography is stunning, with multiple memorable scenes that took my breath away. There are scenes in this movie that I can already tell will be studied and referenced by future filmmakers. Even outside the showstopper scenes, everything is shot in such a cinematic way that fully immerses you into the lush sets and costume designs. The acting is phenomenal across the board. I was initially worried by Lily-Rose Depp due to a slightly inconvincing early scene, but she does an excellent job, really excelling during Ellen's fits. Nicholas Hoult continues to impress me with his extremely expressive face, but the biggest surprise was Aaron Taylor-Johnson who blended right in with the rest of the stellar cast. In a lot of ways, this movie feels like Eggers' magnum opus. I will say that the first half of this movie feels stronger than the second half with a much tighter pacing and ratcheting tension. Even with a more methodical pace, the second half still has plenty of showstopper scenes. This is a Christmastime horror movie that I am sure will become a classic and a part of cinema history.
- MrTrivet2 febbraio 2026Nosferatu is grimy, mythic, and distinctly theatrical horror. It doesn’t try to reinvent the vampire myth, but tells it in a way so hypnotic and evocative that it’s hard to look away. Bill Skarsgård seems to have found his niche in portraying unsettling and repulsive characters. His vampire is profoundly unpleasant to be around - his presence creates a sense of physical discomfort. Crossing the threshold of his castle feels like stepping into a home where barely concealed violence and rot are immediately in the air. It’s difficult to single out one standout performance, as nearly every role - both leading and supporting - has space to shine. The theatrical acting and the cohesive directorial vision amplify one another. This is a successful retelling of a classic, sparing no effort in building a gray, damp, and shadowy victorian world steeped in dread and decadence.
