    When this was released I thought it was brilliant, upon re-watching the new 4K release, it pales in comparison to the remake. Although, the theme tune is still fantastic.

    Mortal Kombat is a fun, high-energy ’90s classic that embraces its video-game roots. With iconic music, memorable characters especially Shang Tsung and solid fight scenes, it delivers pure nostalgic entertainment. Still one of the best video-game movie adaptations.
