Mickey 17 Ratings e Recensioni
- Brad.Plex.7 marzo 2025I would rather sign up to be an expendable than sit through this mess of a film again.
- Alex | Pop Culture Brain7 marzo 2025Bong Joon-ho dared to ask what if Idiocracy meets Avatar And well, mission accomplished I saw Mickey 17 so here’s the good and the bad without spoilers Parasite, in my opinion, is a masterpiece So I was anticipating and also dreading what director Bong Joon-ho would do next Turns out I had nothing to worry about, because his follow up Mickey 17 Is another banger but for completely different reasons This sci fi dark comedy throws back to a lot his previous work Echoing Okja and Snowpiercer in equal measure But it’s a lot more like the former in tone — because this movie is capital H Hilarious I was laughing out loud throughout. It was easily the most fun I’ve had at the movies so far this year And that was no easy task, because the tone director Bong and the cast accomplish here is really tricky It has to remain tense and exciting to pull of the science fiction adventure stuff But also has to be broad and wacky enough to be land the comedy And at any moment things could have gone off the rails by being too over the top But they never did All the performances were on the exact same page about what this movie was It all felt of a piece and that requires clear vision from the director and a sense of continuity among the actors The whole cast is worth mentioning, but Robert Pattinson was genius in multiple roles Mark Ruffalo was bonkers and hysterical - not far from his Poor Things performance While Steve Yeun has a brilliant monologue late in the film Likewise, Bong Joon-ho uses some clever unconventional editing techniques to hook you in The production design was thoughtful, intriguing, and expansive And like so many of Bong’s previous movies, the satire was on point That said the overall theme is one we've seen many times before The movie’s climax kind of devolves into a more typical sci fi adventure Which felt a little less special and unique compared to the rest of the movie And the sound design in the climax was rough, I lost a lot of dialogue But in general Mickey 17 is a blast and another achievement for Bong Joon-ho
- DoggesAndCattes1 maggio 2025You don't need to watch Mickey 1 through 16 to enjoy this film. Mickey 17 is its own self contained story that is both entertaining and well done. Great to see returning cast play all new characters with Robert Pattinson reprising the titular role as Mickey Barnes. Looking forward to Mickey 18!
- Rievous7 aprile 2025Honestly it's the most original film I've seen in a while.
- christa683 gg faMickey 17 has a genuinely fascinating premise colonizing another planet and the idea of “printing” humans with backups is rich sci-fi territory. Unfortunately, the film leans too hard into comedy, turning what could’ve been a deep, unsettling story into something a bit too slapstick. The concept of each printed version behaving differently is especially intriguing, yet the movie never really explores why that happens, which feels like a missed opportunity. That said, Robert Pattinson completely carries the film. His performance is easily the highlight his ability to switch between different versions of the same character through subtle mannerisms, facial expressions, and especially vocal changes is impressive. Overall, it’s not a bad movie, just a slightly lackluster execution of an excellent idea that deserved more depth.
- Kit Lazer6 marzo 2025The universe had this movie delayed 37 times until the precise moment we needed it most.
- Joe G4 gg faA dull attempt at having a high-school-level conversation about individuality, imperialism, and love. The ideas are there, but none of them are developed in a way that feels rigorous or compelling. Even the blunt political commentary aimed at white Anglo-Saxon Protestant America—an impulse I largely agree with—fails to carry the film or give it momentum. There are a few funny moments, but nothing stands out as remarkable. Much of the runtime is spent drifting through stale stretches with little action, little tension, and little sense of purpose. The film gestures at depth without ever committing to it. Not a film worth revisiting, and not one worth recommending. There are better uses of time, and better films tackling the same ideas with far more clarity and conviction.
- Patrik Nilsson7 gg faGreat movie. I couldn't stop watching it, its a masterpiece
- GrimeFiVideo1 gennaio 2026The ending feels a little weak, but it’s a great movie overall.
- LalienX31 dicembre 2025Interesting concept but I tuned out once the animal cruelty started. This really should come with a trigger warning.
- Rob Logan | The Geek Generation29 dicembre 2025Mickey 17 hits on a lot of levels. Performances are great, especially from Robert Pattinson and Mark Ruffalo. The sci-fi elements are interesting and the dark comedy works well, but I feel like the runtime could have been cut down quite a bit to improve the overall experience.
- Marco Reyes21 dicembre 2025it was better than i expected. i enjoyed the world and the storyboard. characters could've been developed better but overall an interesting concept.
- Humpty13 aprile 2025Can't wait for Mickey 19
- FPSGrind6 dicembre 2025Any character development seems to happen off-screen. Characters were pretty uninteresting and campy. The thing also drags on 45 mins longer than it should have. Huge waste of time but after the first hour I was already committed to finishing.
- nja24545 dicembre 2025They took a great book and ruined it. The director, Bong Joon Ho should've been thrown into the cycler balls first. The end, roll credits. That would've been a better plot and more accurate to Edward Ashton's story. Don't waste your time with this insult of a movie. Read Mickey 7 and then Antimatter Blues
