Julie Kaine, a space force cadet, has has arrived to her assigned home base on Earth to inform a returning ship of Earth's status. Unable to find Earth Inhabitants she realizes that she is lost. Instead of fully giving up as an informant for the Colony space force she proceeds to explore outside.
