    I didn't expect to like this movie at all. But I walked away loving it. I don't think it's very cliche at all, more like the opposite. It's not often a christmas movie can be interesting in this way.

    This movie did not age well. It has its nice moments, but most of the romantic storylines are either creepy or sad, and Bill Nighy has to come in and rescue them with his "don't give a shit" swagger. Pretty much every relationship in the movie is wildly inappropriate just baaed on age, nevermind if you add power dynamics.

    Warm your heart, but be ready to be lost at how some of these stories wrap up. Some stories are pointless, others don't wrap up well. Does alot at once and executes none of it well. Plenty of other good Christmas movies out there. watch something else!

    Phenomenal rom-com. I saw it on a plane and had to own it in my collection. Not gonna lie I may have had misty eyes; could have been the altitude... Better have tissues handy just in case🥺
