Joe è un looper che risparmia ciò che guadagna in questo mestiere per alimentare il sogno di potersi trasferire in Francia. Ma dal futuro è iniziata una nuova campagna: tutti i looper ancora presenti sul territorio nel 2074 vanno spediti trent'anni indietro perché vengano uccisi. Un giorno Joe si vede arrivare davanti se stesso, con trent'anni in più.

- MR_BigTime1 g faI wanted to give Looper 5 stars, but I can't, in good conscience, reward the mess that is the audio balancing. For the most part, dialogue was inaudible without major adjustments. Turning up the volume was not an option, since music and effects were as ridiculously loud as the dialogue was quiet. Other than that, the movie was excellent. From the premise to the worldbuilding and character development to the acting, few films can compete with this one.

The real struggle isn't with time itself, but rather with the self and its choices. The acting is outstanding, especially from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, and the direction is intelligent and understated, making the film more than just an action movie; it's also a thought-provoking experience.

It builds the world, set in the reasonably near future, very well where most things are recognisably realistic and familiar with nothing outrageously outlandish or entirely non-believable. A good yarn that keeps you sucked in well.

- Michael Surber22 aprile 2025This film has it all for me. First reason, the holy trinity of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt alone would get me to watch. Second reason, time travel. Throw in a decent script and a novel twist or two and it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.
- COCO11 febbraio 2025Been sleeping on this one for way too long and what a huge surprise. I've been meaning to watch Looper for quite sometime now and wasn't disappointed. It's an intelligent, thought provoking film about toxic masculinity, memory, and the nature of reality. Time-travel is a plot device, not a plot line, as the film exceptionally proves through it’s concise story. Joesph-Gordon Levitt proves himself time and again. Emily Blunt is a masterpiece in anything she’s in. Has some traces of the X-Men franchise mixed with Chronicle sprinkled throughout it which surprisingly blends really well.
