    The 1987 HBO television film Long Gone is widely considered by critics and audiences to be a hidden masterpiece of sports cinema- I agree. Why it is lost and not seen? “One of the greatest baseball movies you've probably never heard of. Hard to find since HBO refuses to re-release it for some inexplicable reason.”

    Quite possibly the best baseball movie that almost no one has ever seen. If you liked "Bull Durham", you will like "Long Gone", maybe even love it. Hard to find though. Don't forget to try YT.
