- Burnharm6 gg faLogan's Run is another classic that I finally got around to watching, and it's easy to see why it has remained such an important science-fiction film. The story itself is fascinating, although I couldn't help feeling that it could have grown into something much bigger. The dystopian world it creates is full of interesting ideas, and I would have loved to see the film explore more of its society, its rules and the consequences of the world it presents. What really impressed me, though, is how well it represents the magic of 70s cinema. The production design, costumes and especially the practical special effects give the film a distinctive character that modern CGI often struggles to reproduce. There's something wonderfully tangible about seeing this world built with the technology of its time. It's not a perfect film, and I think the story leaves some of its potential unexplored, but as a representation of '70s dystopian science fiction, it's beautifully done and still feels remarkably imaginative.

- Cubane23 gennaio 2025An attempt was made, but only just. Even the most grating deep fried ASMR ear-rape from Tiktok can't touch the offensive auditory invective this film calls a soundtrack. Charming miniatures are the only redeeming quality of the shooting locations, the rest of which are clearly matte paintings, poorly disguised sound stages, and cheaply decorated mall interiors. None of the acting is deserving of an international motion picture release. Even the set pieces manage to be derivative and forgettable in what is otherwise an at least mildly intriguing premise. Avoid at all costs.
