I just watched Little Man, and I would give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is absolutely hilarious from beginning to end and is one of my favorite comedies from the 2000s. It fully embraces its ridiculous premise and never tries to be anything other than a fun, laugh out loud comedy. Every time I watch it, I find myself laughing at something new, and it never gets old. The movie follows Calvin Sims, played by Marlon Wayans, a small time criminal who disguises himself as a baby to recover a stolen diamond after accidentally leaving it behind. What follows is a nonstop series of hilarious situations as Calvin is taken in by a couple who believe they have found an abandoned baby. The story is completely over the top, but that is exactly what makes it so entertaining. The movie commits to its crazy idea and has fun with it from beginning to end. Marlon Wayans gives an incredible comedic performance. His facial expressions, physical comedy, and nonstop energy make Calvin one of the funniest characters in the movie. Shawn Wayans is also fantastic, and the chemistry between the brothers has always been one of their biggest strengths. Their interactions create some of the funniest moments, and it is easy to see why they have become such a successful comedy duo. Kerry Washington and the rest of the cast also do a great job, helping make the outrageous story feel surprisingly believable. One of the biggest strengths of *Little Man* is its comedy. The movie constantly throws new jokes at you, whether it is physical humor, clever dialogue, awkward situations, or visual gags. Even if one joke does not land for everyone, another one comes just seconds later. There are so many memorable scenes that have become iconic to fans of the movie, and they still make me laugh every time I watch them. The pacing is excellent because the movie wastes very little time. Something funny is always happening, and there are almost no slow moments. It keeps the energy high from the opening scene all the way to the ending, making it an easy movie to sit back, relax, and enjoy without ever getting bored. Even with all of its outrageous humor, the movie still has a little bit of heart. The relationship between Darryl and Vanessa adds some warmth to the story, and there are moments where the characters genuinely care about each other. It never becomes too emotional, but it gives the movie enough heart to balance out all of the comedy. The special effects used to make Marlon Wayans appear as a baby were very creative for their time. While they may not look perfect by today's standards, they add to the movie's unique style and actually make many of the scenes even funnier. The filmmakers fully committed to the concept, and that commitment is a big reason why the movie works so well. Overall, *Little Man* is one of those comedies that I can watch over and over without getting tired of it. It is funny, creative, fast paced, and filled with memorable performances. It knows exactly what kind of movie it wants to be and delivers on that from start to finish. If you enjoy over the top comedies that are made purely to entertain and make you laugh, this is definitely one worth watching. I had an amazing time watching it again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comedy that never takes itself too seriously. For me, it easily earns 5 out of 5 stars.
