This is British horror comedy at its most unapologetically juvenile, a low budget romp through cursed moors, ancient prophecies and cleavage heavy vampire lore. James Corden and Mathew Horne play two hapless lads sent to a village where all the women have been turned into bloodthirsty seductresses thanks to a centuries-old curse. Subtle? Not even close. Entertaining? Absolutely. The film leans hard into camp, glowing swords, slow mo vampire slaying and dialogue that sounds like it was written by a pub quiz team after five pints. It’s trying to channel Shaun of the Dead but ends up somewhere between Carry On Screaming and a late night SyFy original. And that’s part of the charm. You pick it up purely because the cover made you snort. The effects are cheap, the jokes are hit or miss and the tone is all over the place, but it commits. It knows it’s ridiculous and it never tries to be more than a cheeky, blood splattered laugh. Lesbian Vampire Killers is the kind of film you watch for the title, stay for the chaos.

The only thing remotely funny about this movie is the "Lesbian Vampire Killers" title. I don't know if they are going for campy fun or just using the title desperately to try to sway horny thirteen year old boys to rent this awful movie, but the movie is just terrible. They obviously are going for the Shaun of the Dead crowd by having British comics and replacing the zombies with vampires, but the jokes in this movie as well as all the actors/characters in it are just painful. I could barely manage to get through this travesty of a film, it was totally un-entertaining on every level imaginable. Main problem was the terrible writing with lazy, predictable, unfunny jokes, but the actors were also hammy and terrible. I can't believe anybody actually put money into making this film
