- Richard19 ottobre 2025This is what happens when YouTubers get a budget and decide to make their own Avengers, but with beer, bad aim and accidental heroism. Four small town losers stumble onto a crashed UFO and each end up bonded to a piece of an alien battle suit meant for Earth’s chosen champion. Spoiler: they are not that champion. The humor is juvenile but self aware, the effects are surprisingly solid for the budget and the pacing never drags. It’s Ghostbusters meets Power Rangers with a dash of Galaxy Quest and it knows exactly what it is. It’s not polished, but it’s passionate. The cast has chemistry, the jokes land more often than not and the final showdown is pure chaotic fun. It’s the kind of movie you watch with popcorn and friends and then quote for weeks. Lazer Team is low-budget sci-fi done right, goofy, energetic and full of heart. I streamed it, I laughed and I thought it could’ve been a franchise and it did indeed get a sequel.
