One of Slade's old compatriots, Flannigan (Danny Keogh) recruits him to kidnap J.J. when she arrives in Congella to keep her from doing an expose on United Nations food-aid diversions. But, Slade soon learns he's being double-crossed when he discovers his old compatriot is the head of the operation.
