- fhe8223 settembre 2026Idiots. This is not a good movie, no matter how you try to sell it to me. I do not know what they did to Dave Franco here, but he looks exhausted. Maybe it is makeup, maybe it is the lighting, maybe that is exactly what they were going for. Either way, something feels off from the beginning. And that strange feeling carries over to the cast. The movie has its moments. I did laugh several times. But there is almost no chemistry between any of them. It feels less like a group of actors bouncing off each other and more like everybody showed up already tired of the job and decided to take it out on the rest of the cast. Very weird energy. Then the stripper appears and I thought: Okay. Maybe she is going to save this thing. Nope. She showed up, did one lap around the pole, collected her tips, and clocked out. Pretty much like the movie. A few laughs here and there, but nothing worth rescuing. Just a very strange mood from beginning to end. Thanks for reading.

Interestingly, I watched Nimrods yesterday, also starring Mason Thames and is also a road trip film, but was so cliche and the chemistry between the actors wasn't believable. Idiots shows the right way to do a flim of this type. 3.5 out of 5

- Doc Worm22 settembre 2026A deliciously funny, mean-spirited comedy with a great cast. Most of the humor is not so much laugh out loud as it is perhaps a rediculous scenerio or a well delivered line. Making your lead charecters unlikeable dickheads is always a risk. In this films case I felt it did a good job creating a fullfilling enough arc where I found them endearing by the end. Alot of it comes down to great energy from the performances and spot on delivery of its script. The lighting was kind of amazing?! Far from perfect but definitely entertaining.
