Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum Ratings e Recensioni
- Sarah J27 giugno 2025Apparently ghosts hate content creators.
- CristiDumitrescu31 marzo 2025Holy s**t, that was genuinely scary!

- marshalsea7 dicembre 2025As everyone else says a solid found footage film, and because it's not US not afraid to just go there. Genuinely unsettling, you only know them a short period but actually sympathise with them. Some really good ideas. And love none of it is explained - this is probably a star by itself.
- Allie Tran3 marzo 2025The literal scariest movie I’ve ever watched
- FVNKYFLIX18 dicembre 2025Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum is what happens when a group of YouTubers decides to livestream their way into the creepiest abandoned asylum since Skynet started its “kill all humans” campaign. The crew rolls in like a band of T-800s who skipped the mission briefing, convinced that the only real danger is bad Wi-Fi and a lack of views. But Gonjiam isn’t your average haunted house—it’s more like the T-1000’s idea of a vacation spot, where every shadow, whisper, and ping-pong ball bounce is a countdown to something going very, very wrong. Sarah Connor would’ve walked in, taken one look at the vibe, and immediately started bricking up the windows. Miles Dyson would be in the corner, trying to figure out if the asylum’s cursed room 402 is haunted or just really bad Wi-Fi. The T-800 would be busy checking every door and window, while the T-1000 would be the only one who could keep up with the ghosts, shifting from patient to patient, door to door, until the whole place feels like a never-ending game of “hide and seek” with death. The movie’s genius is how it slowly builds dread, like Judgment Day creeping closer and closer. Every creak, every flicker, every time the livestream glitches is another nail in the coffin. The crew’s bravado evaporates faster than a vampire in sunlight, and by the time they realize the asylum is playing by its own rules, it’s too late. Room 402 isn’t just a room—it’s a trap, a curse, and a warning all rolled into one. Hasta la vista, baby — because if Sarah Connor, John Connor, the T-800, the T-1000, and the ghosts of Gonjiam all ended up in that asylum, John would be the only one left to hit the “end stream” button, and the T-1000 would be the only one petty enough to stay behind and argue with the ghosts about who gets to haunt the place better.
- gnrrain12 dicembre 2025Easily one of the scariest movies I've seen. Has a meandering and relatively slow buildup which is really the only reason I'm taking anything away from it. Otherwise, it's a fantastic story. Acted plenty well enough by everyone involved. The scares are well done and very well timed. Effects are good. Solid horror movie without a doubt. Highly recommended.
- ThePanos4 maggio 2025Good acting and production, mediocre script and cliche'd scares.
- arvindd75 ottobre 2025This movie is great. The acting and production are amazing. But i first thought it was Korean remake of Grave Encounters 🫣
- timothyrowe94616 settembre 2025Reminded me of Waverly Hills in Kentucky....the movie lacked on "jump scares" but made up for it in the story plot....
- Michael Heimgartner10 marzo 2025★★★★ – A Nerve-Shredding Experience I thought I had seen it all when it comes to horror. I was wrong. Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum didn’t just scare me—it wrecked me. This South Korean found footage film is an absolute masterclass in tension-building and atmosphere. The premise is simple: a group of YouTubers ventures into the infamous Gonjiam Asylum to livestream their exploration. But what starts as a routine haunted house challenge quickly escalates into pure terror. The film plays with your expectations, luring you in with small unsettling details before hitting you with relentless, suffocating horror. I was skeptical at first, but as the film progressed, I found myself gripping my seat, barely able to handle the escalating tension. The sound design is phenomenal, and the immersive camerawork makes you feel like you’re trapped in the asylum alongside the characters. Watching this on a big screen with surround sound? Absolute nightmare fuel. I’ve seen a ridiculous amount of horror films, yet Gonjiam made me and my friend so nervous that we had to pause at times just to breathe. That alone speaks volumes. If you’re looking for a found footage horror movie that will truly get under your skin, this is the one. Well done!
