- Michael Surber8 marzo 2026Wow, this was a wid movie. If it had not starred Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson I probably would not have finished it. Right to the end, I was not really sure what i was watching and whether I liked it or not. JL was crazy but she freaking SOLD it. RP as well. Both actors were riveting when on screen. Was not a fan of it being shot in 4:3 format but honestly it didn't matter much once it got rolling. Worith a watch but it's not going to make many "best films" lists.

A deep movie about a cynical woman who got stuck In middle of nowhere after giving birth and suffering from Postpartum Depression which makes her extremely nihilistic and on a brink of major existential crisis. Outstanding cinematography and strong performance by Lawrence. love the fact that there is no indication of time other than her bruises.

There is no plot here, no story, just a series of weird scenes that could have all been told in an30 min short story, assuming a good re-write. No chemistry between the leads, annoying barking dog, fake night scenes made with ND filters and an ending you can see coming within the first 15 minutes.
