The shortage of housing in Copenhagen is great. A vagabond called the Professor, however, believes he has found a brilliant solution: He takes up residence in the villa of a rich director every time the latter goes away. But when the Professor takes pity and invites other housing seekers along, at the same time as the director's daughter runs away from boarding school and returns home, the housing crisis becomes big.
