- cultfilmliker20 marzo 2025Christopher Reeve is Ash from THE EVIL DEAD Powerful performances from the leads. Dyan Cannon absolutely shines in this role. An immediate fav performance of mine. Incredible. Enjoyed the psychic character and the actress very much. Only complaint is Caine overacting at points which happens Very capably directed by Lumet and enjoyed the wildly meta script tho parts of the plot feel tired to me but I blame that on time which sucks bc I feel it makes the dialogue a slog. The tone of the script is incredibly pompous but I get it and enjoyed it.
