- eif99926 gennaio 2025a muddled mess as a comedy/mystery. But Paul Kelly as the cop, and Sheila Ryan as the plucky reporter make this one a movie old crime fans will enjoy (not to mention the always crooked Jerome Cowan). Just don't expect the story to make any sense. And what in the world in Kelly's crow friend about? Kent Taylor is one of those 40s mustached guys that spends all his time trying to be a lady killer. He's just a bore. The flick would have been easier to get through if they limited him and increased Kelly's scenes.
