- Robert Robins19 luglio 2025Man I LOOOOVE this movie, i always watch it when I’m In a bad mood it’s so fun & full of unserious action and Vampire Killing. Meagan Good looked SOOO pretty in this movie, I always had a crush on her growing up. It’s just fun to watch and I can watch OVER & OVER again, & I won’t get tired. We need more fun film like this. I recommend watching this with friends.
- Stephen Guerrero16 novembre 2025Intro to this film is crazy exciting, with new moves for the species of foe I've not enjoyed before. This is shaping up to be a fun ride with our main character and his buddy, and I'm sure the comedy is only to keep the Horror lively. This ain't no spoiler, but they got my attention playing Body Count during a fight sequence. There is plenty of action, and it's gorily fun and also a blast to witness. There are plenty of laughs and a few unexpected giggles that I didn't plan. The action and mayhem are inspired, and the commradarie is also very commendable.
- Daiken Seige26 ottobre 2025First and foremost this is a dumb movie. With that being said... I love this movie. It had a great blend of humor and action. Hell it has Scott Adkins in it for no reason and I think he says bro 300 times. I'm not going to say anything about the story cause don't care. But if you want a sum then mean vampire making sunscreen to allow day walkers and Jamie Fox is Broke. If you haven't seen this give it a watch it's stupid fun and I watch it at least once a year around Holloween (not scary but fun)
- Carlos Ibarra17 luglio 2025"Day Shift" delivers exactly what it promises: a super fun buddy flick that, while not breaking new ground, excels in its execution thanks to the infectious chemistry of its lead trio. Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, and especially Snoop Dogg are an absolute blast to watch, making even the most familiar action-comedy beats feel fresh and entertaining. It's a movie that knows what it is and leans into it wholeheartedly, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable ride.
- Kevin Ward6 luglio 2025Day Shift opens with a pretty impressive action sequence. Actually, there are a few other good action scenes as well. Unfortunately, everything In between consists of a lackluster story, terrible dialogue and some of the most forced world building I’ve ever seen. Poor Dave Franco is tasked with 99% of this world building via some word vomit exposition dumps. In some of the worst dialogue moments, Franco practically has to read encyclopedia entries of vampires types, recite vampire killer union codes, and pretend he loves The Twilight Saga. It’s one of his worst performances I’ve seen from him but I’m going to chalk it all up to the script. That being said, I had a reasonably fun time with this. The action set pieces are surprisingly good. But when Snoop Dogg throws up the double M-Fers, forms them into a “W” and says “West Side for Life”, how do you not give at least 3 stars for that?
