After serving a five-year prison sentence for allowing his crew to destroy a town in a drunken spree, a trail boss is hired by the same town's leading citizen to drive their cattle to Fort Clemson. Complicating matters, a rival cattle baron also hires the trail boss to lead his herd.

    “Cattle Empire” is a Western that begins with a dragging scene, then builds through a rugged cattle drive, and concludes with a burst of gunfire. It’s a story of redemption and old grudges. Not a classic, but it’s watchable and holds your interest well enough.
