- chipsjnr16 gennaio 2026Blue thunder, is one of those classics. It's quite slow moving compared to today's action packed thrillers. But as a standalone thriller it's great. Roy Schneider is his usual smart arse self. , if you love him in jaws you will love him in this as Murphy. Daniel stern plays a great character too in one of his earliest movies The helicopter scenes are still amazing. As good as this is , I'm surprised they haven't remade/rebooted this yet

- jackmeat22 dicembre 2024My quick rating - 6,0/10. Officer Frank Murphy (Roy Scheider), an experienced LAPD helicopter pilot, is given command of the advanced new "Blue Thunder" chopper. But he begins to wonder why the LAPD would need a helicopter so powerful and why it is such a secret. Nice action movie and I'll sum it up quick. 1983. Those were real helicopters. As usual, anything designed for good has to be used for killing. One man in the way of this plan.
- Ray Hopkin29 ottobre 2024This is an amazing film! I watched this as a kid many decades ago, I loved it then, and rewatching it now, I still love it! Roy Scheider is his usual brilliant self, and the supporting cast of Warren Oates, Candy Clark, Daniel Stern and Malcolm McDowell are all great. I never realised that it's the same newscaster as in RoboCop! And the main character is Murphy! But some great action scenes, a great plot, highly recommended!
