Beetlejuice - Spiritello porcello

- Callum1 gennaio 2026⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Beetlejuice – The strange, the morbid, and the perfectly unhinged. This was my introduction to Winona Ryder, and honestly, what an introduction. Of course, you can’t talk about Beetlejuice without mentioning Catherine O’Hara, Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, and Alec Baldwin. This film simply wouldn’t work without any of them. It’s one of those rare cases where every major piece clicks exactly into place. Keaton’s gravelly, manic Beetlejuice is iconic for a reason — pure chaos wrapped in pinstripes. Ryder’s sad, gothic outsider feels instantly recognisable, especially once she’s floating mid-song, while Davis and Baldwin play ghosts who are genuinely terrible at haunting in a way that’s both funny and oddly endearing. And then there’s O’Hara’s gloriously artsy, occult-obsessed mother, dialled up just enough to be ridiculous without ever breaking the spell. With a cast and characters like this, it almost has to be awesome — and it is. The film balances macabre humour, surreal visuals, and genuine warmth in a way that feels effortless. It’s weird without being alienating, dark without being mean, and endlessly creative. As a kid, my favourite detail was Beetlejuice’s tiny town in the attic — a perfect miniature replica of the real one below. That idea alone felt like an entire film’s worth of imagination crammed into a single gag, and it’s the kind of thing that sticks with you for life. It also rewards repeat viewings. A lot of the supporting cast pops up again in the sequel, so if you’re planning a double feature, it’s well worth keeping an eye out for familiar faces. This is Tim Burton at his most playful and most inspired — strange, stylish, and completely unforgettable. 🍷 A dark cherry cordial served in a chipped glass — sweet, eerie, and weirdly comforting once you give in to it.

- James Saenz20 novembre 2025“if you don’t let me gut out this house i will go insane and take you with me!” roommate put this on under the impression that it was a musical because of all the clips he’s seen on social media. he was so pissed when it took 50 minutes to get to the first “song.”

- ProfSolon17 agosto 2025Great movies. Better than the second. But they are both good. I loved this show since I first saw it.
- mickerdoo11 agosto 2025Great cast. Cool effects (even though I'm not that big of a Burton fan). Keaton pulls this out of nowhere. Love Geena Davis.
- tellum19 agosto 2025I don’t even know how you come up with the idea for a movie like this but it’s funny and it works.
- Mortibus10 ottobre 2024AdM : Un vieux film qui a traversé les années et qui est connu de beaucoup de monde.
- Kevin Ward1 luglio 2025My daughter is really looking forward to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice so we decided to check out the original today. It was kind of fun seeing her come to the realization that a bunch of the cast of the new one were actually in the original. So, I’m looking forward to at least watching the sequel with her. I was never a very big fan of this movie though. Michael Keaton is straight up nutty and easily my favorite part, but it’s pretty wild how little he is actually in this. Crossing my fingers 🤞🏻🤞🏻for more Keaton in the follow up.
- Lasse Viinikainen31 luglio 2025A master class of practical effects and classic scenes.
- Jameslikesmovies24 luglio 2025What is there not to say about how good this movie is.
- Ddoughnut11 maggio 2025Micheal Keaton seemed like he was having the time of his life voicing Beetlejuice
