So those sections felt kind of superfluous. I’ve heard this looked great in IMAX though, so maybe I just missed see this in the manner that was intended.
- capitolfi8 aprile 2025Depending on the day, my favorite rock band could either be the Stones, Alice in Chains, or Led Zeppelin. Most days, it's Zeppelin. And most of what they did all happened before I was born... They're also each more musician than rock star, so having this produced with their cooperation is pretty damn cool. It doesn't contain anything all that revelatory and sticks to the music pretty much entirely, but that isn't a bad thing. The music speaks for itself. So, as a glimpse at their rise to fame, it's good. Do I wish there was more to it? Absolutely. Matter of fact, when the credits started rolling I was like "that's it"...having no idea it had already been 2 hours. For that reason, I can't fault it for what it isn't.
- jkat253 agosto 2025As a fan it was nice to see the beginnings and evolution in their own words, but it was slow and repetitive in the last 40 minutes. They didn't cover all their albums, why they broke up, the interna conflicts, etc. Lots of nice early show content and some high level makings of hit songs but overall not what I expected. Also...no stairway to heaven? Come on!
- craigg7521 aprile 2025Very enjoyable if you are a Led Zeppelin fan. It delves into how these guys got together and the immense amount of music knowledge they had coming out of the gate. Very interesting how they created the first two albums and each of the songs. If you are a fan of LZ, you won't be disappointed.
