- Callum23 maggio 2026⭐⭐½ – Beautiful Disaster – Attractive people, empty calories. This is one of those films that is perfectly watchable while simultaneously evaporating from your memory the second it ends. In fact, that might genuinely be the highest compliment I can give it. Everything here feels assembled from familiar pieces: the “damaged bad boy,” the girl who should know better but gets pulled in anyway, the forced chemistry, the drama that could probably be solved by a single honest conversation. It’s all competently put together, but there’s very little personality underneath it. The cast do what they can, and there are moments where the charm almost carries things over the line, but the film never really finds an identity beyond being another entry in the pile of romance dramas aimed at the “messy but hot” crowd. It wants intensity and passion; most of the time it lands closer to mildly entertaining background noise. The strange thing is that I didn’t hate it. It moves along well enough, never becomes actively painful, and there are worse ways to spend an evening. But once the credits rolled, there was almost nothing left behind. No standout scenes, no memorable dialogue, no emotional punch — just the vague memory that yes, I did in fact watch a movie. Sometimes being forgettable is worse than being bad. At least bad films leave a scar. 🍷 A cheap sweet rosé — easy enough to consume, instantly forgettable once the bottle’s empty.
