“the only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you're uncool.“ there are times when you walk out of a theater feeling like you watched something truly abysmal. then, there are times when you walk out of a theater feeling like you had a fun time. lastly, there are other times, transcendent times, where you walk out and see the sunlight kissing the walls and floors of the theater during golden hour and everything feels luminous and alive, fervently vibrating with this energy of purpose and passion and magic. i’m blessed to say this was one of those times. it would’ve defined my entire personality had i seen it in high school. penny lane, you are the world and everything within it.

A coming of age rock and roll fantasy. This movie is a ton of fun with a huge cast of crazy characters. Such a great movie. One of my all time favorites.

“Wake the fuck up man it’s a girls running team” Cameron Crowe is a good writer. Fast Times is his best work, but this movie is unabashedly a waste of time. “I love f*cking these teenage girls being a 70s rockstar rules) The most insufferable girl you know has Penny Lane as her pfp and this in her top four. I watched this with my mom—I thought it was gonna be cool, but it wasn’t. The guy who played the Postal Dude from that Uwe Boll Postsl movie is in this.
