Amid the palpable darkness of the local cinema, a film about dancing gradually transforms into a surreal experience of psychological horror, as four friends struggle to interpret the strikingly realistic and blood-curdling on-screen imagery. Little by little, sinister games of make-believe start haunting the audience, and somehow, scissors have the final say. Was Tom, indeed, the one who did it?
