Lena, una biologa ed ex soldatessa, prende parte a una missione di sole donne per scoprire cosa è successo a suo marito all'interno dell'Area X, una zona caratterizzata da un fenomeno sinistro e misterioso che si sta espandendo lungo la costa americana. Una volta all'interno, le donne scoprono un mondo di paesaggi e creature mutanti che, tanto pericoloso quanto bello, minaccia sia la loro vita sia la loro sanità mentale.

Awful movie. Starts out ok but slowly descends into a chaotic mess. And by the way that scene with the zombie monster (a bear, I think) is stolen from an old Dungeons and Dragons "choose your adventure" book. That alone pisses me off. Anyway this flick is definitely not for me.
