Lindy è stata una bambina molto difficile, per via di un particolare disturbo della personalità definita "esplosiva intermittente". Basta poco per farla arrabbiare fino a farle perdere il controllo, cosa che la rende fortissima e veloce. Nel tentativo di dare uno sfogo a questa ira e placarla ha anche avuto vari addestramenti militari e marziali, che la rendono una donna pericolosissima. Per fortuna uno psichiatra ha realizzato un prototipo che le permette di riprendere il controllo quando sente la rabbia salire, dandosi una scossa attraverso una sorta di esoscheletro toracico elettrificato che porta sotto i vestiti. Le cose nella vita di Lindy sembrano cambiare per il meglio inizia una relazione con Justin, che presto però viene stravolta scatenando la sua rabbia...

My quick rating - 5.6/10. Kate Beckinsale is involved in a movie that doesn't have to do with lycans. It has been a while. I have to say that this movie held some potential that just didn't get realized. Beckinsale is born with some unidentifiable issue that causes her to go into a massive rage for no apparent reason. Bipolar on steroids, basically a sort of toned-down version of Crank was my best comparison. So, throughout flashback explanations and some narration, we get to her present-day management of the affliction. She basically shocks herself through a body harness to keep herself under control. Through her therapist's urging is she must somehow try to make human contact to mediate herself. Well, this isn't a dramatic flick, so when her dating attempt goes well and THAN he is murdered, she is dead set on finding those responsible for taking away the one man who had somewhat broken through with her. So now we get down to our action flick we came to see, with the foul-mouthed Beckinsale beating the crap out of everyone to find the killer. There are some nice twists and turns in this one, but the problem is that most of the good ideas that were presented through this are so underdeveloped that they become afterthoughts between ass kicking. Still, the action is decent, and the cast is capable enough. I was entertained enough, and for what it is worth, as a popcorn flick, I am sure you will be as well.
