L'histoire commence lorsque Aoi, une belle jeune fille qui prétend avoir échappé aux griffes du mal dans la dimension alternative de Podreams, apparaît devant Kenta, un lycéen de deuxième année et amateur de tokusatsu. Lorsque Kenta dessine le héros imaginaire Wingman dans le Dream Note qu'Aoi avait, cela lui permet de se transformer en Wingman pendant cinq minutes d'affilée. Aoi et sa camarade de classe Ogawa Miku font équipe pour sauver Podreams du dictateur maléfique Rimel, qui veut utiliser la Dream Note pour prendre le contrôle de Podreams.
