Based on the 1985 film, the series follows Gary and Wyatt, two high school misfits who use their computer to create Lisa, a stunning, all-powerful woman with a heart of gold and a knack for turning teenage problems into magical mayhem. Vanessa Angel steps into the iconic role with charm and sass, while the boys stumble through adolescence with explosions, time warps and wish granted disasters. The tone? Pure ’90s teen comedy with a sci-fi twist. It’s cheeky, cartoonish and packed with pop culture references. While it doesn’t match the movie’s edgy John Hughes vibe, the show finds its own rhythm, especially in later seasons when the plots get wilder and Lisa’s powers go full genie mode.
